Hi there fellow bird enthusiasts! My name is Clare and I’m happy to be sharing this experience of learning about and appreciating the wondrous world of birds with you! I have been bird watching in various locations around the world - from the bushlands of Australia (my home country!), to the Ecuadorian Amazon, to the high peaks of the Himalayas. I know that birds are profound indicators of the dire state of our global ecosystems and my hope is that more people become aware of their beauty and vulnerability so that we can better work together to protect our shared Earth habitat. I can be found working on establishing a small bird paradise in my backyard, cooking and thinking about how I can contribute to more sustainable local food systems.
